DAE-AE2

Design of analog electronics - embedded analog 2

This training starts on: To be determined
Location:Eindhoven of Nijmegen
Price:€ 2.500,00 excl. VAT
Duration:5 days in a period of 8 weeks

Information

This module learns to apply, specify and design analog functions that are often required in embedded systems. The functions discussed in module 3 are: power switches, digital level shifts, active and passive filters, networks for impedance matching and –correction, single-bit AD converters, and AD and DA converters (selection and application only). 5 days, lectures, practical training, home-work, assignment.

The course modules Embedded Analog Electronics 1 and 2 focus on specifying, designing and/or applying the most essential analog functions for embedded systems using standard integrated circuits and passive components.

The course price is excluding 200 euro (excluding VAT) for a software package (‘Scientific Notebook’ and an introductory version of the circuit simulator SIMetrix) to be used during all course modules. The participant makes assignments during the course days and other days and is requested to bring a laptop to the course onto which software can be installed. The High Tech Institute can provide for a laptop that can be hired.

Intended for

Designers with little experience in analog electronic design. BSc in physics or electrical engineering or secondary education in electrical engineering with some years of experience in design and engineering of simple electronic circuits. Prior knowledge on matrix algebra, complex functions, transformations, stochastic modeling, network theory, and of the knowledge and skills learned through course modules DAE-Intro and DAE-AE1.
