Reviewing is about making the right technical choices, at the right moment, with the right people involved. However reviewing is not only about making technical choices. On the contrary: It’s about knowing and understanding who your stakeholders are and getting them involved. It is about being able to present your case to a small or bigger audience and grabbing their full attention in the first 2 minutes of your presentation. It is about managing review discussions where critical colleagues destroy your case because they do not want to give in.
Reviewing is great but it can be difficult and it is an art. This course focuses on mastering this art.
Effective stakeholder management focuses on successfully managing and leading review sessions; learning how to get stakeholders on board, communicating your message and working towards the right consensus and/or aligning potentially conflicting viewpoints.
