Information

A 3-day comprehensive course to learn the basics of LabVIEW, a graphical programming environment by pictograph, for performing measurements, data acquisition, analysis and graphical presentation of information.

 

LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) of National Instruments is a graphical programming environment by pictographs, not by text, for performing measurements and data acquisition, analysis and graphical presentation of information. Moreover, many interface cards are available for the interconnection between the PC and the measuring instruments.

 

After the course, the participants will have acquired a basic knowledge of the LabVIEW language. The participants will be able to read and modify application programs in practical situations.

Intended for

Laboratory employees involved in the definition and execution of measurements. Educational level should be technical college/experienced medium technical level. The participants should be able to work with a PC with Windows. The course language will be Dutch or English. In case either Dutch or English is required, please contact The High Tech Institute.

Special topics

• Local and global variables 

 

Methods: lectures, practical workshops with a PC. Course material: course binder. Participants will receive an USB data acquisition system. Award: certificate.
