The value of software for the high-tech sector in general and the Brainport region in particular became crystal clear in Eindhoven at the second Software-Centric Systems Conference on May 25th. We, the High Tech Institute, were there as sponsor not only to promote our expanded software portfolio, but also to meet with the experts and to show we believe in the power of sharing software knowledge.
A select crowd of software specialists gathered at the High Tech Campus to learn about and discuss the upcoming trends for the software that will control the mechanical and electrical applications in the near future.
Terms like Agile, Scrum, C++ and model-based design buzzed around all day. A day that was kicked off by Volvo’s Jonn Lantz who showed the complexities of developing autonomous cars.
